On August 27-31, in Barcelona Annual Conference AMEE 2016 was held under the auspices of the Association for Medical Education in Europe. Among 3500 different delegates representatives of Georgia also participated in the conference, including David Tvildiani Medical University’s staff in the person of Prof S. Tabagari, Prof. N. Bregvadze-Tabagari and Assistant Professor N. Zavrashvili.
Conference and exhibition held in its framework reflected all the important issues and trends of medical education: new educational designs in undergraduate and postgraduate education, innovative teaching methods and means, including teacher training/retraining, new topics for a medical curriculum et al.
The Georgian delegation took part in the workshop - "Understanding the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) Criteria for Recognizing Agencies that Accredit Medical Schools".
