On February 11 David Tvildiani Medical University has joined the vaccination campaign organized by UNICEF Georgia and the AIVA • Association of Immunization and Vaccinology with the support of USAID Georgia. The memorandum was signed by UNICEF Representative in Georgia Ghassan Khalil, David Tvildiani University Prorector Sergo Tabagari and AIVA Representative Mariam Jashi.
The memorandum includes collaborating with students to spread information about Covid-19 vaccination. The campaign, with the slogan “You can end this pandemic!”, will target young people in selected regions and share evidence-based information on COVID-19, its possible complications and prevention measures, and will focus on why vaccination against COVID-19 is important.
